I don't have the money for 6 18" DDZ's and Sundown doesn't have neos in production right now iirc
If someone bought the 5th 4" coil motor, I could run 4 beefy 4" coil neo 18's. Should be nasty

How much is it going to cost you to build 6 neo 18s yourself? And what soft parts you going to use? Just gunna throw some crap together? I see tantric happening all over again with you.... Going to pick parts after I get motors.

I'm not going to build subs for other people.

I'd sell the 5th motor to somebody without soft parts, so no, not like Tantric.

Yeah. I was concerned about using it as an 18. I figured the SA-18 had enough motor force to perform well, and the 2.5" neo motor would have even more gauss strength in the gap

You may wanna double check, but I'm pretty sure Jacob has the Sundown Neo available to sell currently. I'm pretty sure there is a thread on CACO confirming that. He's already working on V2 which apparently will be less neo to make it more cost friendly.

I'm curious why youd' bother rather than going with say, 6 DC lvl4 18s. They are less than 500 each and would still wang on the 1 amp. Maybe you have a great reason and I'm just unaware of it. Is the 4" coil or the neo a deciding factor?

I had Dc lvl4 18s. Meh tiny little things that I couldn't get loud. Switched to crossfire Xs v2 and gained 3db

btw, the old atomic apocalypse with 2.5" coil gets nasty loud, so id not discount them simply based on coil size.
