So i'm running 2 amps and the distribution block and to make the connection from the main wire to the amp wire it requires a bus fuse. My amp runs 30amp fuses so I matched the fuse but it burned them out when I barely even turned it up so I got 40 amp fuses and they also blow just at a higher...

I noticed that also when the amp cut off the sub that the overhead light also cuts off. And then comes back on when the amp does. Could I be drawing too much power from my stock battery or something? The battery doesn't drain quick if the car isn't on or anything just cuts off a few electrical...

So I have a Rockford Fosgate Prime R1000d and a 12" Alpine Type X subwoofer. When I put the subs to a high volume it will cut off but then after a few seconds come back on. Is this mean the amp is above peak output? Or what is the deal.

I bought a Rockford Fosgate Prime R1000, should come sometime this week. That is what i'm going to use to power whatever sub I get.

Well what is your all's recommendation for the under $400 price range for just pure bass power?

Sound quality is not a factor, neither is price. I just want to know which would have the most raw bass power. I want it to pound, and that is my only goal :P

So generally speaking, more cone is better? The difference between the L5 and L7 doesn't make as much difference as cone area?

So this is probably a stupid question but, Would two kicker L5's powered by a RF Prime 1000 watt amp at 500 watts per sub be better then a single L7 running the whole 1000 watts? I'm not really sure how much difference there actually is between the L5 and L7

My head unit (Alpine CDA-105) only has a 2v preamp output for some reason. Alpine cheaped out there I suppose. Does the 4v really make that much difference in quality?

I tried adjusting the fade, at max volume before distortion I faded it it to the front +2/15 and it eliminated the problem. I suppose that's a good enough fix :P
