The auto-eq does a decent job up front but the bass output usually ends up being almost inaudible. I ended up turning the bass down alot to get it to where the auto-eq returned some acceptable bass output.LOL, thanks. The unit I have has been sitting around for a while. This will be my first time using it. I have heard good results with one in another vehicle. I might have to remind myself to have more patience. If I don't have luck with the auto-tune, I might have to do my best with manual tune
any tips or warnings?
Say I started with the bass gain low. run the auto-eq, then boost the gain up a bit after the auto-eq is done? I'd think some EQing would need to be done to the bass around the xover point to re-integrate the sub and midbass. The auto-eq does a decent job up front but the bass output usually ends up being almost inaudible.
