I should have stated in my post that after the op posted what he was getting back from the insurance company to scratch off my recommendation.
But 6 grand more is more than a couple of thousand more. But i mean its two different cars. 135i is faster than all of the 3 series. It even beats the m3 e92 by a hair length. But this thread is not a discussion about the two cars just stating my facts why i would rather buy a 135i. better bang for the buck.

id take the car that is liveable over the one that is marginally more spacious.

With the going prices for the supras, i'd rather buy me an is300 and boost it. Same **** engine that is in the supra and other toyota and lexus cars.

A camry and an is300 are the exact smae thing with differnet motors - u take all the parts off a camry nad they fill on same year is. the is is a pile of sexy too. = )

It depends what base model you're talking about stock for stock. I've seen numerous n/a supra and single supra stock getting rapped by cars that are under 250k

Can you get something clear for me? I don't know much about the camry. But this is my understanding, the camry and the is looks nothing a like. Also the motor is nothing alike, what makes it the same thing? I see no resemblance at all. Unless the frame is the same but that doesn't make it the same car.

A stock toyota supra from the 1993-2002 models years can hit 180 MPH with a decent tune.

From 1996 all US Turbo models had Auto trannys

The uspra is lighter than the skyline R33 and R34 GTR, 3000GT and 300ZX

Non turbo supras make 220 HP stock

The supra had the best braking of any production car in 1997 and went for 70 to 0 in 149 feet and that wasnt broken untill 2004 by a Carrera GT

you're kidding me. you want me to list cars under 250k that can beat a stock supra?

i dont have enough time to list all the cars capable of beating the supra around a track in that price bracket.

why are you even bringing up 1000hp supras? they're worthless for anything other than highway blasts. the power comes in one unmanagable useless lump towards the end of the powerband. who gives a ****?

Differnet motors and Different looks, but all the body parts will bolt straight up from one car to the other. Ultimate Sleeper maybe - a Camry with a is300 motor. Cool idea.
