Cadence wire

I bought some of the 8 gauge "power" wire, which I'm using for speaker wire. lol.

Looks like great quality to me, though I'm not sure if its OFC or CCA. Regardless, it doesn't matter too much for my install since it's only being used for speaker wire.

My only complaint is I couldn't get my order in one big section (i ordered 3 35 foot sections from audiosavings), but no biggie. For $8 a section I can't complain.

I'll be ordering some black soon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Any chance of buying a 150 foot spool of 8 gauge black during this "special" you are referring to?

I plan on using 2 runs of the 14ga wire (one per speaker) to run 400w each on my mids

Think that will be an issue?

if so, ill just double it up, not a big deal.

Thanks, glad you are happy with your wire!
I just recently bought some as well, and some 8ga,and I am pleased with it.Very flexable easy to work with, and excellent price with shipping also.I recommend buying to anyone.Great wire, good product, and excellent shipping,Thanks:D

And if you manage to find the car audio wire comparisons chart you will find that Cadence is the most cost effective wire currently available. Now since I've tried it and am using it for sub wiring, amps, and home audio wiring I hope I can continue to find it when I need some!

Just ordered 250ft of 14ga and some RCA's
Will report back soon.
I use the 14 gauge as standard wire in our enclosures. I have done a few tests and the results for basic 14 gauge are really good. All though if you are using a ton of power you will want to upgrade for sure, but that would be true with any other 14 gauge out there. I will be adding in some 8 gauge for those who feel they need to upgrade to something a bit larger.
