Does this amp put out what it claims?

ok lol, i didnt think so... my sundown 1500 is fused more than that lol. plus the poweracoustik ONLY has 4awg power/ground inputs!!!

It would have to have 21.3volts at 100% efficiency to get the 3200 watts ( 21.3 X 150 = 3200 ) right?

lol ive heard that about them... they werent bought from there and they are not mine. Just wondering what they actually put out lol. looks like not much!

anybody have a decent guess at 14.4 volts?

you'll get about 1000 true watts of dirty clipped distorted sound....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

lol but like i said before, the amps were not bought online. They have already been installed (last night)... I am just wondering how I can figure the true wattage of these things.

the formula is (voltage x amperage = watts) right? assuming it is 100% efficient watts, otherwise multiply the answer (watts) times the efficiency (like 75%, 0.75) right? 14.4 X 150 = 2160watts at 100% eff., so at 75% eff.. 2160 x .75 = 1620 watts. Do I have this right?

Provided that is actual maximum current draw and actual efficiency, then yes that is how it would be calculated.

The only way to know the real wattage is to measure it.
