Haha, true. Which one is going to give me the best SQ while still maintaining good SPL in a small, sealed enclosure though? No problem. If you're not sure about the DC sub I recommended, the SE is a pretty good alternative. I had 4 of them not long ago.
The DC is nice, though. And it's got a "nice little pricetag" too...
You're still talking like 700 - 800 watts total, man. The big 3 and a half decent battery should be all the electrical he'll need...he is going to be running 2 amps on a stock 105 amp alt
The lvl 3 is just fine in sealed enclosures. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifthe se is better suited for small sealed dc will give you a little more spl but def likes ported better
The SE is a nice sub. I'm not going to say it isn't. The DC is also nice for this application, though. It will sound fine in a sealed enclosure on it's rated power. Don't believe me? Ask some people that're familiar with the driver...lol no the dc i good in sealed its a great sub, i think the re is more musical in a sealed box
Thanks.nice ride, man...
I think you were on the right track to begin with, man. An SE or Lvl 3 on rated power with your Polk comps should sound pretty nice...Thanks.
What about something along this line, only 300 rms...
