Honda S2000 Subwoofer *Help/Advice/Input Needed*

I think you were on the right track to begin with, man. An SE or Lvl 3 on rated power with your Polk comps should sound pretty nice...
Are the polk db's good comps for the money?.... The only thing is, they were the only decent ones I could find that would fit! *****...

Anyways, I think I would prolly go with an SE, I really like the look of the sub, and I've always wanted to try out an RE sub. I have heard great things about DC as well though. I'm sure they are equally as good.

Am I going to need to upgrade the electrical system?...

They're not terrible components, man. You should buy some deadening material and seal your doors. That'll make them sound better.

The SE is a good sub. I haven't heard the new ones, but the older model are fine. I liked them well enough to buy 4.

If you're worried about electrical upgrades, you could always do the big 3 upgrade and buy a decent battery. With the amount of power you'll be running, significant electrical upgrades shouldn't be necessary...

Just to clarify, mclerico83. Pushing Cadence equipment over and over isn't going to make anyone consider the stuff. I know that Cadence makes some decent products, but new people are going to think what you're doing is WAY too pushy...

Yeah, I was def considering it. Should i got with the whole door kit from dynamat? Its like $80 a door.

I like Dynamat Xtreme and use it regularly, but Second Skin makes some quality deadening material as well. If I were you, I'd look into buying a bulk pack. Then you can take care of the doors as well as the trunk.
