power @ 2ohm

Well their are few options for amps that make power at 2ohm. I'm looking for between 1.6k-2k @ 2ohm. Not looking to pay more for a 1ohm stable amp to run at 2ohm. So my options are 2 amps strapped, or running 2 matching amps gain matched @ 1 ohm to two pairs of subs. Looking to keep it around $300 if possible. Any suggestions? 2 cadence f1200 strapped (~$330)

2 soundstream rubis strapped(~330)

2 audiopipes strapped(less than 300 used)

1 audiopipe 3k (less than 300)

1 visonik 4000xd (can get one cheap,but have read they are power hungry)

audiopipe is junk. always has been. kicker for the price you might as well get sundown. (not worth it for kicker. )

grab the memphis or look into the brutus series hifonics. cadence amps are great for the buck also.

Saw the memphis. Its pending though. And I'm hesitant to buy until I get some of the equipment I'm not using sold or traded.

You can get a Planet Audio BB2400 which does 1600 watts @ 2 ohms for $230 refurbished

Thats an option I guess...But it makes me wonder why there are so many refurbs of that amp available. Seems like if it was such a great amp there wouldnt be refurbs out the ass.

Any other suggestions? Leaning towards to Cadence F1200s strapped...but havent heard anything about that particular amp, but always heard Cadence made nice budget equipment.

I don't have a F1200, but I do use a F700, which is doing 800 watts @ 2 ohms for me

The Flash series is decent I guess, definitely not their top series, though. They will do rated, however.

as long as they do close to rated and won't crap out in a few months, I would be happy! Ill look into other cadence amps also..

too **** expensive. For the price of the kicker I could get a quality amp that does around what I need @ 2ohm and still be 1ohm stable too.they are good amps for sure, just can't do the price tag.
