Well, my Accord has given me so much **** trouble, I'm spending too much money fixing it so it has got to go. I need a new car, preferably a domestic because I can get better financing options. As cheap as possible!

Requirements are:

Hatchback

Room for a big box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Easy to mod

Cheap alternators //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Good gas mileage

Warranty is a +

I'm the type of person that'll go to the dealership and ask em how big of a box I'd be able to fit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif That's not the only factor though.

Try a Mazda 3. Not my cup of tea, but my buddy has one and loves it. Plus great gas mileage.

if you read the fine print on those ads for domestics the rate goes up after a year... i would look at a new civic. also without a budget it's hard to say.

however i just bought a VW GLI and it has a massive trunk and a 140 amp alt. stock //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think I'm going to go with the Focus. They can be had for cheap right now at around 12.5k. I'd love a Mazda 3, but the hatchbacks will run around 17-18k, over budget which is at around 15k. The domestic vehicles have great incentives and 0% interest rates right now which make them very appealing to me, although I'll have to check and see if that's really the case. A GLI is very nice, I've thought about it, but it's a tad over budget.

Acura RSX

i got a 2003 base fully loaded 50k miles in jan of 2006 for $16k before tax .. with all the goodies of an acura dealer, 7year 100k bumper to bumper warranty, road side, free rental, blah blah

gas milage is sweet ... bout 33 mpg adverage (330 adv miles on a tank .. 10g per tank)

deep trunk ... tweeters in the dash (not my 1st choice to put but theyre there) 6.5" speakers all around

my friend bought a 2002 typeS (40hp more than base model) for 13k last spring sememester with 45k miles from a private party

do you think if i blew my engine around 90k miles they would have to replace it ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I’ve never owned them but have heard a lot of crossfire products and like them a lot.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
