Hey all,
I'm attempting a budget SQ build in my 2017 LTZ Colorado and I'm unsure what to do for front sound stage .
My initial plan was to replace stock 6x9s with ALPINE 6x9 components and run them in full active configuration with 300 watts rms to the speakers and 90 watts rms to the tweeters and call it a day
But I'm wondering if there would be any improvement in SQ by adding a pair 3.5" Dayton Audio coaxials for mid/high range stuff and keeping the 6x9's for midbass ? The 3.5's will go in stock dash locations
The speakers will be powered by 2 Alpine 4 channel amplifiers both rated @ 90w x4.
The only thing stopping me from doing a fully active 3 way is my DSP which is an Audison Bit Ten .
