Ok first off i know forums are all personal preferences and some people actually know what there talking about through personal experiences with the products but id just like to get some insight on what you may think would be a good system to run daily an feed my bass addiction lol..

As for my electrical i have a 235 h/o alt with one optima yellow top upfront 2 370 fr C&D batteries in the back with a isolater relay 200 amp and 2 runs on 1/o aw welding wire for both + & - pure copper ox free wire i do plan on adding 2 more back batteries but thats it for now..

to power the set up im goin to have 2 sundown saz 2500ds i have one right now but im gonna purchase another an strap them..

now the subs & enclosure are what im sceptecle on right now i have 4 15 inch alpine type rs at .5 ohm on one sundown but im goin to sell them an im figuring out what i wanna so either 4 actual good brand fi dd sundown lower model 15s or 18s..

or just go with 2 18s or 2 15s but the higher model like fi btl n2 or DD 9500 series 15s or 18s

but i want some people who have had experiences with there output..

i like that chest pounding breath taking away bass..right now my box with 4 15s is tuned to 29hz i like it but it dosent satisfy all the bass notes i like just crazy lows..

sorry for rambeling but any help or info would help thanks!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

4 entry level SSA 15s or something similar. like 1500 rms each sub would be what I would be looking for. then decide what type of enclosure you want to try.

I think you'd be satisfied with any of the typical internet brands. I mean, you're only running around 1,000w per sub if you're sticking to 4 subs. They all can take that power no problem. They will sound fine, and take the SPL abuse. The sound you get out of them, is all dependent upon your box.
Personally, I can only comment on a few subs I've heard. All of them pound.
My own personal use is with Sundown SA-10s. Great sub, takes a 20hz tone at double it's RMS no problem. Doesn't get hot. I only got it stinky once. Just daily listening and not trying to hurt it, I've never had a problem. I've been running it at 1.2k for over a year now.
The only other subs I've heard was a pair of Skar VVX 10's that freaking pounded. @DonH They were on an AP1800 with solid electrical, in a single cab truck. Made my ears hurt, moved some hair.
And I've heard a pair of IA Death Rows on 2k in a Hyundai Santa Fe. @Imtjnotu They sounded great and clean as well, pounded, got low, made my ears hurt.
They are all great woofers, they are all gonna sound the same on 5k though. The sound you get out of them is going to be box dependent.

thats what im debating..everyones telling me to just say **** it an wall it ill get the dbs and heat pounding bass i want..'

and my dads a carpenter so he said get him the plans an he can build it for me

I would keep with 4 subs if you plan to play 5K for hours at a time. I'd also feel better if you added a second alternator or a few more batteries. Sundown 2500 is beast and it takes power to make power.

This x10, and if you plan on playing your system for long periods of time definitely get an alternator so you can keep your voltage up to at least 13v. Your amps won't like you very much if you are running them at 12v for hours at a time.

yea i was thinking of atleast 2 more batteries but they dont have a bracket to add another alternator i looked into already id have to find room in that small engine bay an fabricate it which im sure can be done..

an yea right now at .5 ohm on full tilt with car on lowest ill drop to is about 13.4 which is low but im sure with four better subs an another amp ill dip into the 12s easy lol

Hey guys theres this guy in my area on CL that has a brand new Btl 15 n2 for sale with cooling an xmax coil for 450 i was debating on grabing that ish..

that 4 order ive also thought about..but i dont have the money to do that i heared a fourth order is atleast over 1200 for a good one..

i could be wrong..

but thats just what iu heared..

and i dont want the alpines i want to go with either entry level sundown dd or fi
