Plus its a Ford and they are reliable.. and personally i will never pay 10k plus for a car with almost 80k miles. At 100000 miles i dont care whos making the car thats when things start to break...

^^^LOL IF you say so me and my family and 4 other families that we are friends with will never buy another ford product ever. They are either using Honda of Toyota's.

I would look at honda or toyota to see what they have my father has a honda element he loves it took it to Washington dc and back. Than calculated the mileages he was getting 28 mpg. I think you would be happier with honda or toyota.

weird that no one realy voted on freestyle. thats what im kinda wanting. there BIG and great mpg
because the word JEEP was involved....people are too stuck up their own asses and default to what they have been around and 'heard of'

it is like JL

my vote is for the freestyle

get an older car like a mid late 90's car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...or a 2001 escape...got really loud

Love my 03 escape, got some vids of my 4 12"s setup in my build log (link in my sig).

I have an 03 XLT (V6), and I enjoy it. My parents bought it new and i finished paying it off after they got another car, and i'm very happy with it. It's just over 100,000 miles @ the moment (102,xxx i think) and its never really had any problems. I know where its been and its been well taken care of though. Seems to handle the weight of the system decently also. Going on the ~ 4.5hr drive from home to college (mostly highway) i averaged ~ 22-23mpg with my stereo in (4 12" AQs, 8ft^3 box, 2 powermaster d3100s in back, easily 300+lbs).

No need. If it's a 4ohm DVC, then it should be wired to 2 ohms at the enclosure terminals. That would verify that the coils are good, and the...

I have a feeling they do little deadening to save money and weight. Less weight is better mpg.

Wire it up at .5 ohm. The JP23 can definitely handle that and you will get the most power for your single sub.
