Northeast Region NESPL & AfterShock Series

tried a few burps again today, and the surround came unglued again, dust cap stayed on. First burp dropped the mirror off the glass, and 2nd burp sounded funny and much lower so I checked and it out and the surround came apart about 1/2 way around the cone. It's being glued again right now, a little more glue this time.

That amp must be pretty powerful.
Possible, but I seriuously doubt it. I've never had a problem with these subs before so it surprises me to have these problems seeing as this amp is supposed to be less powerful. It's gotta be just weak parts or something.

It's got me thinking maybe it's time to buy those 10" DC level 4's that I've been wanting.

Supposed to be less powerful doesn't mean anything. The sub could just need to be reconed too, you have been burping those for a while now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It's possible, but those are Fi's not the subs you run.....mine are better than yours. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Could be a cleaner signal plus it may be more powerful then the MA Audio. We recently tested a 4000 at 17 volts and it only was doing 1836. A coulpe of burps after that, it went up in smoke.

You mean your subs are built better then mine with the DC parts you wish you had //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif The only non-dc part of my sub is the motor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Go ahead, but those aren't my street stock subs so it's pointless, you already know the class is for stamped steel baskets and 2.5" coils. I run an atomic apxx for my daily driver and when I don't have my street stock setup in.
