So I'm looking for a BIG LCD for the car, like maybe 15". I found one website that sells the raw screens which is what im looking for, but dont know who makes them....

What is actually inside the non-monitor part of flip down ceiling mount LCDs? Ones without a player.... im guessing its just a circuit board, but im wondering if i can take that out and relocate it somewhere and just glass the monitor in somewhere else? Any ideas?

depends on the manufacture, most of the time its usually just a small circuit board, shouldnt be a problem removing it and relocating it,aslong as you keep it away from harmful areas

I have done this twice.

It was pretty easy.

But what are you paying for the flip down to take apart? Cause you can go up to Wal-Mart and get a 15" LCD for less than $300. Just have to use a power inverter.

You could run that sub on a 4 channel amp and have 2 channels left for amping front speakers. I just put a small system in my brothers car with a...
