    Bandpass = Sounds like azs

    Any traditional box style can be used as an equally limited band box with equal thump at the same limited freq's. Just use your crossover to limit the band your box receives. Instant BP, but you can open up the crossover to increase SQ after the driver enjoys his butt pounding session. I...

    Bandpass = Sounds like azs

    Please stop building and buying these crappy subwoofer box designs. Every bandpass box I have ever heard sounds like azs. I know it can be done correctly, but it never is done correctly and there is no point,. Bandpass can be achieved electronically before the audio reaches the box. There...

    High sound quility speakers with good bass

    It's all about the install redo your door install, MDF ring, deading, sealing, etc. Good power (not HU power) and wiring. If that doesn't do it for you, then you can add more drivers, either large or just more 6 inch drivers crossed off at your bass freq of choice. A single sub helps a lot...

    Right speakers louder than left?? More questions...

    I'm sure the amp is better than HU power. I'm also guessing your issues are installation problems. Check all connections, cables, wires, etc. What did you use for wires? New or used? Adapters? Double check speaker wiring, phase, wiggle RCA connections. Check power wiring and gains...

    Low budget system

    I would get decent 6" components for the front doors, a four channel amp, a cheap 12" sub, and a budget alpine HU. Build a simple box. Could be done for $400. Should still have enough left for Knukonceptz wires and some deadening for the doors.

    Ehhh... BIG THREE help please!

    No. You do not "replace" any wires. You add a new wire from the block to the chasis. Leave the original alone. Very easy on any car. Nothing could be simpler. Don't make it harder than it has to be. No. Not block to battery either. Block to chassis, and battery negative to chassis...

    questions about tuning frequency

    What do you want to achieve? Best possible Sound Quality or just as loud as possible. A higher freq will allow higher SPL, but a lower freq will sound better, but will output much less spl than a higher freq. You must choose grasshopper.

    Building a box - best way to seal edges

    If you want to get crafty, miter the edges at 45 degrees, so your edges fit together tighter. On a small box it's not worth it, but on a big box it makes the seams stronger. Then glue a strip a wood along the seam as a brace. This makes for very strong, long lasting edges and corners.

    Some good low note songs?

    The king midas sound lights up my Spectrum Analyzer to below 20 hz. Also I like to use real CD's, not ****** stolen Mp3's which don't sound as good or go as low.

    Ehhh... BIG THREE help please!

    You don't need to ground the alt. Just 1)Alt Positive to battery positive 2)engine block to chassis and 3)Battery to chassis

    Building a box - best way to seal edges

    Yup. Lots of basic wood glue. If you want to get crazy you can use gorilla glue, but even that's over kill. I would then seal the whole thing from water damage by painting on more glue or paint the inside and out of all surfaces. You're using MDF right? Throw out the plywood and use MDF.

    How should i upgrade my electrical?

    Big 3 HO alt One good battery up front That should do it, unless you pound too long/hard with the engine at low idle. Then just add more batt's.
